Structural analysis of sewing machine oil pump

发布时间: 2024-09-03

1、 Overview of Sewing Machine Oil Pump

The sewing machine oil pump is one of the important components in the sewing machine, which supplies lubricating oil to various parts inside the sewing machine to reduce wear, reduce noise, and improve efficiency. According to different working principles and internal structures, sewing machine oil pumps are mainly divided into several types, such as manual oil pumps, electric oil pumps, pneumatic oil pumps, and hydraulic oil pumps.

2、 Sewing machine oil pump structure

1. Plunger type oil pump: A plunger type oil pump is composed of pump body, plunger, spring, valve seat, valve plate and other components. A transmission shaft is installed inside the pump body, which is driven to rotate by a motor. The plunger is connected through a swing rod to rotate coaxially. When the plunger rotates to its maximum stroke, a certain negative pressure is generated, forming a lubricating oil flow at the suction valve, which sucks the oil into the plunger. Then, when the plunger rotates to its minimum stroke, it sweeps through the hydraulic discharge port and discharges the oil into the interior of the sewing machine.

2. Gear type oil pump: Gear type oil pump is mainly composed of pump body, gears, connecting shaft and other components. When the motor rotates, it drives the connecting shaft to rotate. The connecting shaft is hung with a pair of meshing gears. During operation, the sewing machine lubricating oil enters from the inlet of the oil pump and is discharged radially along the gear gap. Due to the excellent fit of the gears, there is no need for additional seals at all.

3. Air compression oil pump: The air compression oil pump is mainly composed of pump body, pressure cylinder, piston, air pressure controller, liquid reserve chamber and other components. Between the pressure cylinder and the piston, compressed air generates pressure in the middle to send the oil into the liquid reserve chamber. When the pneumatic cylinder is working, the oil in the liquid reserve chamber is squeezed and enters various parts of the sewing machine for lubrication.

3、 Working principle of sewing machine oil pump

The working principle of the sewing machine oil pump is to extract the lubricating oil exposed outside the machine through the components inside the pump body, and then discharge it to the parts of the machine that need lubrication to ensure the normal operation of the machine. The workflow of the sewing machine oil pump includes three steps: oil suction, oil delivery, and oil return. In each step, the sewing machine oil pump must complete the corresponding task.

4、 Summary

The sewing machine oil pump is an indispensable and important component in sewing machines. By introducing its structural composition and working principle in this article, sewing machine users can better understand them, thereby achieving better lubrication and maintenance of the sewing machine. Whether it is a manual oil pump, an electric oil pump, a pneumatic oil pump, or a hydraulic oil pump, they all have their own characteristics and advantages. Using different types of oil pumps can provide good solutions for different sewing needs.
